全球首款治疗新冠的药物在英国获得批准

首款用于治疗症状性新冠的药物已获得英国药品监管机构的批准。


这种名为molnupiravir的药片将每天给确诊患者服用两次。


在临床试验中，这种最初用于治疗新冠的药物将住院或死亡的风险降低了一半左右。


对于英国来说是历史性的一天，因为英国现在是世界上第一个批准可以在家服用抗病毒药物的国家。

英国加强疫苗提前启动预约

英国政府计划加快冠状病毒增强疫苗的接种，可以提前一个月预订冠状病毒增强疫苗。


目前，人们要等到第二次注射后六个月后才能预订补充疫苗。


但从周一开始，50岁及以上的人，加上风险最大的人，将可以在5个月后预订。


专家表示，虽然两剂疫苗能给人们提供高水平的保护，但随着时间的推移，免疫力会下降，尤其是对高危人群，会影响NHS应对这个冬天的能力。

英格兰的R值估计已降至0.9到1.1之间

据估计，英格兰的新冠疫情数字已降至0.9至1.1之间。之前的估计是1.1到1.3之间。


这表明冠状病毒在该国的传播速度正在放缓。R值介于0.9到1.1之间，意味着每10个感染者平均会感染9到11个其他人。


据路透社报道，与前一周的+1% - +3%相比，每天的感染增长估计在-1%到+2%之间。

科学家认为，英国最新一轮的新冠疫情已经见顶

科学家和医生认为当前英国Covid-19感染浪潮在10月下旬已经达到了顶峰，而其他一些欧洲国家的病例正在快速上升。


周五，英国国家统计局(Office for National Statistics)的每周感染调查显示，在截至10月30日的一周内，英格兰、威尔士和苏格兰的冠状病毒检测呈阳性的人数与此前7天非常相似。


萨拉·克罗夫茨(Sarah Crofts)说“几周以来，尽管感染率仍然很高，但是我们第一次看到英格兰中学学龄儿童的感染率有所下降。”


与此同时，英国健康安全局宣布，英格兰的R值介于0.9到1.1之间，这意味着，平均每10名感染者会感染9到11人。

Lewes篝火之夜:数千人参与新冠为主题的活动

多达3万人聚集在Lewes篝火之夜，此次活动是以新冠病毒是前卫生大臣马特·汉考克肖像的主题，一幅代表瘟疫的肖像也被扔进了火中。


活动中有六人被捕，其中一人因袭击急救人员被捕，有一人掉进河里后被救出。

再次提醒在英中国公民防范电信诈骗

近日，再有多名在英中国公民因遭遇电信诈骗向中国驻英国使馆求助，其中大多为近期来英新生。有关案件中，不法分子通过技术手段将来电号码进行伪装，谎称自己为“国内警察”、“使馆工作人员”或“快递公司”，我留学人员名下信用卡或借记卡涉及跨境洗钱等违法犯罪行为，或以“有文件要领取”、“有包裹需要领取”为由，要求当事人提供个人信息，进而以当事人“涉及刑事案件”为由，主动“协助”受害人转接国内“警局”或“检察院”电话（实为虚拟假冒电话），诱骗当事人提供本人银行账号、取款密码或者将资金转入所谓“安全账户”进行“资金清查”。个别受害人在家人和同学都已经提醒可能是电信诈骗的情况下，仍坚持给犯罪分子汇款，甚至拒绝使馆工作人员提供的帮助，在与犯罪分子对话时拒绝接听身边同学协助拨通的使馆电话。


中国驻英国使馆再次提醒在英中国公民，尤其是来英新生务必提高警惕，不要轻信以任何名义索取姓名、住址、家庭情况、银行账户等个人信息以及转账、汇款的要求，避免造成财产损失。如不幸上当受骗，应及时向英警方和国内公安机关报案，同时尽快联系本人账户开户行，要求采取止付、冻结等相应措施。受害人无法直接向国内公安机关报案的，可通过国内近亲属及时报案并向报案地反电信网络诈骗中心请求帮助，也可拨打110后请其协助转接反诈中心。
