新模型发现，英国的Covid-19感染率将从下个月开始下降，可能会在圣诞节前降至5000例。


伦敦卫生和热带医学学院(LSHTM)的模型和政府的观察表明，即使没有政府的B计划的引入，病例也会在未来几周内急剧下降。


伦敦商学院数学建模助理教授尼古拉斯·戴维斯(Nicholas Davies)说，很难“精确地”预测峰值的时间，但模型似乎表明，Covid病例将很快达到一个高点，然后开始下降。

Sunak宣布，明年国民生活工资最低标准将从每小时8.91英镑提高到9.5英镑。


59便士的上涨意味着一名拿着最低生活工资的全职工人的年收入将增加1000多英镑。


新利率将于明年4月1日生效。对于21岁和22岁的人来说，全国最低工资将从每小时8.36英镑提高到9.18英镑，提高了82便士。

英国新冠肺炎死亡人数在一周内飙升26%

英国在最近24小时内又确诊了39962例Covid - 19病例，死亡人数增加了72人，在7天内增加了四分之一以上。


数字显示，与上周日(10月17日)的44,985例病例相比，感染人数减少了11%。在检测呈阳性的28天内，有57人死亡，这意味着上升了26%。这是自3月7日(82人)以来周日死亡人数最多的一次。

什么是英国新冠B计划?

SAGE成员、封锁设计师尼尔•弗格森教授警告称:“进入冬季，可能需要实施B计划。


如果不断上升的病例数量没有好转，唐宁街10号不排除使用备选B方案。英国政府已经开始看到一些疫情扩散的迹象，住院和死亡率正在上升，政府也正在密切关注不断上升的病例率。


A计划包括为50岁以上和其他弱势群体注射加强疫苗，为12至15岁的青少年提供第一剂疫苗，并建议他们在封闭空间戴口罩。


B计划包括强制性的口罩归还（包括在学校），活动场馆的强制性疫苗护照，以及在家工作。
