研究人员说，中国研制的一种Covid-19疫苗已在中期试验中取得成功。中国正在开发几种疫苗，其中一些已经开始接种。

据研究人员说，在大约700人的试验中，科兴生物技术公司的疫苗导致了快速的免疫反应。

中国国内疫情已几乎完全得到控制，目前正在巴基斯坦、沙特阿拉伯、俄罗斯、印度尼西亚和巴西进行四种中国疫苗的后期试验。

据官员称，截至11月初，已有近6万人接种了疫苗。

政府面临“虐待”的指控，大学生们要求退还与冠状病毒有关的学费。他们觉得在线学习和面对面教学不一样，而校园设施和资源由于冠状病毒更难获得。

在超过20万人签署了一份要求偿还部分冠状病毒学费的请愿书后，议会于周一讨论了学费问题。请愿书中写道:“没有经历过大学生活的学生不应该为网络课程支付全额学费。”

学生们告诉《独立报》，由于校园和课程都在调整以应对疫情，他们认为减少今年的学费是公平的，并同意一名议员的评估，他们今年受到了“不公平的对待”。

“在线学习和亲身体验完全不同，”曼彻斯特大学(University of Manchester)大一新生巴纳比·福尼尔(Barnaby Fournier)说。“我们的学费应该降低到至少和Open Univerisity一样的水平——大约每年6000英镑，因为我们基本上得到了和Open Univerisity一样的服务。”曼彻斯特大学每年的学费为9250英镑。
